Company Switch Design
Company Switch, UL Listed, This is the most commonly specified Company Switch type. It builds on the Basic version with the addition of; a connection chamber for bare-ended cable; electrical interlock between chamber door and main breaker shunt trip; copper bussing with lug terminals; cable strain relief; and grommeted cable access holes on the bottom of the enclosure. This type of Switch provides connection for both cable with and bare-ended cables. It is perfect for electric power distribution for theatre, convention centers, arenas, schools, churches, and events centers.
With Series 16 Cam-Lok Receptacles & Connection Chamber – Type 1
Series 16 Cam-Lok receptacles are color coded, and mounted on the receptacle panel at bottom of the enclosure, below the connection chamber. The series 16 devices are designed to provide superior service and durability, even under the most severe operating conditions. The Series 16 receptacles are rated 400 Amps and provided with snap back protective covers, making them perfect for electric power distribution for theatre, convention centers, arenas, schools, churches, and events centers.
With Series 16 SafeCam® Receptacles & Connection Chamber – Type 1
Series 16 SafeCam® receptacles mate with standard series 16 devices and include the additional safety and risk aversion the SafeCam® System provides. The SafeCam® System monitors the Series 16 SafeCam® receptacles and prevents the main circuit breaker for being closed if there is an exposed receptacle and automatically opens the main circuit breaker if a plug is removed under load. Series 16 SafeCam® receptacles are rated for 400 Amps, color coded, and mounted on the receptacle panel at bottom of the enclosure, below the connection chamber. The combination of the Series 16 SafeCam® receptacles and the SafeCam® system reduce the risk of injury and liability making them perfect for electric power distribution in locations such as theatre, convention centers, arenas, schools, churches, and events centers where the general public may be present.
With Posi-Lok™ Receptacle Panel & Connection Chamber – Type 1
Posi-Lok™ receptacle panels are part of a Sequential interlock system that requires the user to connect and disconnect each plug in sequence. Cross-phasing is eliminated and “make-first / break-last” Ground connection is guaranteed. Plugs are similar to Series 16 devices, but are provided with a polarizing shield that keys each plug to the correct receptacle. Panels are UL Listed and rated 3R. Posi-Lok™ panels are mounted on the bottom of the enclosure , below the connection chamber. Posi-Lok™ systems are frequently used for power distribution to TV trucks, Broadcast trucks, waste water treatment facilities and industrial/dockside applications.
With IEC309 Pin & Sleeve and Connection Chamber
Pin & Sleeve ™ receptacles conform to the IEC309 international standard for electrical plugs, receptacles and connectors. The devices are color-coded, UL Listed and rated 3R. Pin & Sleeve receptacles are mounted on the bottom of the enclosure, below the connection chamber. Pin & Sleeve devices are frequently used for Audio, technical and motor power distribution in applications in theatres, convention centers, arenas, schools, churches, and events centers.
